Individual counselling sessions (50 minutes): £60
Sessions are usually held weekly, unless we agree otherwise.
Concessionary spaces are limited and offered subject to availability. Please feel free to ask about this when you get in touch.
I offer a free 20-minute introductory conversation, usually by phone or online. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions, share a little about what’s bringing you to counselling, and get a sense of whether working together feels right.
There is no obligation to continue after this conversation.
Sessions last 50 minutes. Counselling sessions are commonly called “the counselling hour” even though they last 50 minutes. Research and practice suggest that this length allows for focused, reflective work without becoming overwhelming, while leaving space between sessions for both you and the counsellor.
Research shows that regular, weekly attendance tends to support more consistent and effective therapeutic outcomes, which is why most people choose to attend counselling on a weekly basis.
Some people choose short-term counselling, while others prefer longer-term support
There is no requirement to commit to a set number of sessions
We can review how the counselling feels at any point.
I offer:
Online counselling
In-person counselling (Seaford, East Sussex)
We can discuss which option feels most suitable for you.
Payment is usually made in advance of each session, via bank transfer. Details will be provided once sessions are arranged.
If you need to cancel or rearrange a session, I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice.
Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged at the full fee, except in exceptional circumstances.
