I meet with clients in person at my counselling room in Glynde, East Sussex, with daytime appointments available on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Working face-to-face allows us to work with creative and somatic approaches where appropriate, supporting a deeper connection between mind and body as part of your therapeutic process.
I work in person with children and young people at my therapy rooms in Glynde, East Sussex and have face to face or online appointments available on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Sessions often include creative or play-based approaches, which can help children and young people express feelings that may be difficult to put into words. Each session is guided by the child’s pace and interests, within a safe and supportive environment.

I am trained as an experiential, person-centred counsellor. This approach is grounded in the belief that each person is the expert in their own experience, and that, given the right conditions, we all have an innate capacity to grow, heal, and find our own way forward.
My role is to create a non-judgemental and safe therapeutic space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. I work within clear ethical boundaries and professional standards, offering warmth, respect, and empathy to support your process of self-discovery and change.
Each session is unique and shaped by what you bring on the day. Together, we create a calm and supportive space where you can slow down, reflect, and listen to what feels most present for you.
Our time together may involve talking, gentle reflection, or moments of quiet as we attend to what’s happening in the moment. Sometimes, words may not feel enough, in those moments, we might use creative or somatic (body based) approaches, such as noticing sensations in the body, exploring breath, or using simple movement or imagery to help express and process what you’re experiencing.
There is no expectation or pressure to work in any particular way. The pace and direction of the sessions are always guided by you and what feels right. My role is to be alongside you, to listen, to attune, and to help you make sense of your experience in a way that feels safe and meaningful.
Over time, sessions can support a growing sense of self-understanding, ease, and connection, both within yourself and in your relationships with others.
Reaching out for counselling can feel like a big step, especially if you’re unsure what to expect. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin, simply a sense that you’d like some support.
If you’re curious about working together, the first step is to get in touch. We can arrange an initial free, 20 minute conversation to see whether counselling with me feels like the right fit for you. This is a chance for you to ask questions, share what brings you here, and get a sense of how I work. There’s no obligation to continue after this initial session.
If you decide to go ahead, we’ll agree a regular day and time to meet, usually weekly, either in person or online. Sessions last 50 minutes and take place in person or online.
Whatever brings you here, you are welcome exactly as you are.
